Poppy Chicken
Poppy Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. chicken breast or 2 1/2 lb. fryer chicken, 2 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. flour, 3/4 c. chicken broth and 8 oz. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook and cube chicken.
Put in casserole.
Make 1 cup chicken gravy with 2 tablespoons butter, flour and broth.
Mix with sour cream and pour over chicken.
Crush Ritz crackers and put on top. Melt 1 stick butter and drizzle over crackers.
Cover with poppy seed.
Cook for 30 minutes in 350Β° oven.
