In saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar and syrup.
Stir well and bring to boil.
Stir in condensed milk.
Simmer, stirring constantly, until it reaches 234° to 238° or soft ball.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour over popped corn.
Stir well.
Butter hands lightly and shape into balls.
