Popcorn Balls
Popcorn Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 20 c. popped corn (about 1 c. unpopped popcorn), 2 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 1/2 c. light corn syrup and 1 tsp. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Remove all unpopped kernels and place popped corn in a large roasting pan in oven.
Keep warm in oven at 300Β°.
Butter sides of a 2-quart saucepan.
Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, vinegar and salt in buttered saucepan.
Cook on stove top to a soft crack stage, stirring frequently (mixture should boil gently).
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour mixture over warm popcorn. Stir gently until mixed.
Butter hands and use a butter coated cup to shape into 3-inch balls.
Let cool!
Yields 13 to 15 (3-inch) balls.
