Popcorn Balls
Popcorn Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dark syrup, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1/4 c. water, 1 tsp. vinegar and 2 tbsp. butter or oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan.
Cook until mixture boils, continue cooking, stirring constantly, until a hard ball forms when dropped in very cold water or 260Β° on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and quickly blend in butter or oleo. Pour slowly over popped corn in a large bowl, mixing well. Shape into balls using as little pressure as possible. Butter hands, if necessary.
Mixture will be very hot.
Keep a bowl of cold water for dipping hands to cool.
Makes 14 medium balls.
