Popcorn Balls
Popcorn Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 qt. popped corn, 1 small jar brer rabbit molasses, 1/4 c. water, 1/2 c. sugar and 2 tsp. cider vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Discard all hard corn kernels.
Use a large pan (such as turkey roasting pan) to mix in.
Combine syrup, sugar, water, vinegar and salt; cook slowly, stirring constantly to 270Β° or to hard ball stage (test by dropping a spoonful in cold water).
Remove from heat; add vanilla and oil, stirring only enough to mix.
Pour over popped corn, stirring constantly until all corn is coated.
Slip Baggies on both hands; grease lightly.
Work quickly; shape lightly into balls.
Put popcorn balls on wax paper to cool, then wrap each in its own Baggie.
