Poor Man'S Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. raisins, cooked, 1 c. liquid from raisins, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 c. sugar and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream together Crisco, sugar and egg.
Then add raisins and liquid.
Sift in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
