Cook raisins in the water for 5 minutes; then let cool.
Cream sugar and Crisco.
Add flour, baking soda, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Add raisins and mix well.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour in a greased Bundt pan or loaf pan.
Any good frosting is good on this cake.
