Plain Sugar Cookies
Plain Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. plain flour, 1 box confectioners sugar, 1 lb. (4 sticks) oleo, melted, 2 eggs and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift flour, salt, cream of tartar and soda together.
Set aside.
Mix sugar and oleo together.
Beat until smooth.
Add eggs, beating after each addition, then add vanilla.
Add small amount of flour mixture, beating until smooth until all flour is used.
Roll into small balls and drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yield: About 8 dozen.
