Pizza Horns
Pizza Horns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 loaves (1 lb. each) frozen bread dough, all-purpose flour, olive oil, 1 jar or can pizza sauce and 1 tsp. dried oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Frozen bread in refrigerator overnight or at room temperature 2 to 3 hours.
On lightly floured surface, roll out each loaf into a circle,
10 inches diameter.
Cut each circle into 8 triangles or wedges.
Spread with sauce to which oregano and garlic powder are added.
Leave 1/4-inch margin on each side.
Sprinkle cheese, green pepper and pepperoni. Roll up triangle beginning wide end.
Curve ends to form crescents.
Place on lightly oiled baking sheets.
Brush with egg white and garnish oregano and cheese.
Bake at 450Β° for 15 minutes.
