Pizza Dough
Pizza Dough is an easy dinner. Made with 5 c. all-purpose white flour, 2 pkg. rapid-rise yeast, 2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. sugar and 2 tsp. olive oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a large bowl, mix together 3 cups flour, yeast, salt and sugar.
In a small saucepan, combine 1 3/4 cups water and oil. Heat to 125°.
With a wooden spoon, stir oil and water into flour mixture.
Add enough flour to make a firm, soft dough.
Knead 8 to 10 minutes on floured surface.
Cover with plastic and let rest 10 minutes.
Makes 8 (6-inch) crusts.
Top with desired topping.
Bake 10 to 14 minutes at 500°.
