Pinto Dumplings
Pinto Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. pintos, 1 1/2 c. plain flour, 1/2 c. cornmeal, 1/2 tsp. soda and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook pintos until about half done; drain water off.
Put pintos in the mixture of cornmeal, flour and soda.
Mold into baseball size balls.
Put into a pot of boiling water.
Cook slowly for about 1/2 hour.
Remove from water.
Cut open; pour meat grease over them and salt to taste.
