Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, well beaten, 2 c. flour and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cream together shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to mixture along with juice. Mix well.
Simmer in 9-inch skillet butter and sugar; arrange pineapple slices on top of butter and sugar.
Place cherry in center of each slice; pour batter over all.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 minutes.
Turn out at once.
