Pineapple Torte
Pineapple Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. cream (half and half), 2 c. crushed pineapple, 4 tbsp. flour and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Make sauce of cream, sugar, flour, pineapple and vanilla. Cook until thick.
Put layer of crushed wafers in bottom of 8 x 12-inch pan or dish.
Add sauce, then remaining wafers on top. Refrigerate.
This can be made a day ahead.
Serves 10.
Top with whipped cream.
