Pineapple Salad
Pineapple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 envelope unflavored gelatin, dash of salt and 1 c. shredded sharp american cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Drain pineapple and keep syrup.
Mix sugar, gelatin and salt. Add hot water to syrup to make 3/4 cup liquid and add to sugar mixture.
Heat until sugar and gelatin dissolve.
Chill until partially set (weak jelly).
Add pineapple and shredded cheese. Fold in whipping cream.
Turn into 1-quart mold Chill until firm.
