Pineapple Pie
Pineapple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 2/3 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. butter and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Place pineapple in saucepan.
Mix together sugar and cornstarch, add to pineapple.
Bring to boil over medium heat and cook, stirring, 2 minutes or until thick and clear.
Remove from heat, add butter and lemon juice.
Line pie pan with pastry, pour in filling, adjust top crust or make lattice strips.
Bake at 425Β° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
