Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add raisins
And walnuts. Combine egg, vanilla and melted shortening. Dissolve soda in pineapple and add.
Stir just enough to mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 1 hour or until done at 350Β°. Wrap in foil for freezing.
