Pineapple Icebox Pudding
Pineapple Icebox Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, well beaten, 2 c. crushed pineapple, 3 tbsp. thin cream, 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 envelope dream whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg, cream, nuts, pineapple and salt.
I save the nuts back to sprinkle on each layer.
In casserole or mold, start with vanilla wafers; spread layer of goop, then nuts.
Keep making layers.
Top with Dream Whip, ground nuts and cherries.
Add 2 teaspoons sugar to Dream Whip.
Make this a day ahead.
Keeps well.
