Pineapple Crowned Fruit Pie
Pineapple Crowned Fruit Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. crushed graham crackers, 1/4 c. sugar, 6 tbsp. butter, 2 medium bananas, sliced and lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine cracker crumbs and sugar.
Stir in melted butter until well blended.
Pat into 9-inch pie plate.
Dip bananas in lemon juice (to maintain color).
Arrange banana slices in bottom of pie.
Arrange sliced strawberries on top.
In saucepan, add cornstarch to undrained pineapple.
Cook and stir over medium high heat until thick and bubbly.
Cook for 1 minute.
Add vanilla. Cool at room temperature.
Spoon into pie.
Chill several hours. Sprinkle with nuts.
