Pineapple-Chocolate Squares

Cream first 3 ingredients until fluffy; beat in eggs.
Sift together dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.
Divide batter; to 1/2, add nuts and chocolate; spread into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Add pineapple to remaining batter; spread carefully over chocolate layer.
Bake at 350Β° for about 30 minutes, or until done.
(Can also use 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.)
Cut in squares when cool.
