Pineapple Casserole
Pineapple Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. butter, 3 slices bread, 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Melt 1/4 pound butter; break up 3 slices of bread in small pieces and mix with butter.
Beat 2 eggs light and add sugar, salt and pineapple (juice and all).
Add buttered crumbs.
Pour into an ungreased baking dish.
Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg or mace. Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
(May be stretched by adding 2 more slices of bread.)
If doubling recipe, use only 4 eggs.
