Pineapple Astoria
Pineapple Astoria is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can crushed pineapple, 1 pkg. miniature marshmallows, 2 pkg. lemon gelatin, 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Drain pineapple; reserve juice.
9 x 13-inch dish with pineapple.
Top pineapple generously with marshmallows. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and pour over marshmallows. When cool, refrigerate; add water to pineapple juice to make 1 cup.
Cornstarch with a little of the liquid. Beat egg well.
Mix all together add salt and butter. Cook this mixture, stirring constantly until thickened, then cool thoroughly.
Whip cream mixtures.
Top gelatin mixture it. Top this with coconut, nuts and a few cut up maraschino cherries.
Refrigerate until serving time. Serves 15.
