Pilaf is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. uncle ben's rice (not minute rice), 1 can campbell's french onion soup, diluted with 1 can water, 1/2 c. very fine egg noodles, uncooked and 1/2 stick oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Place oleo in saucepan and brown uncooked noodles until light golden brown.

Pour in soup, water and rice.

Bring to boil and simmer about 20 minutes or until rice is tender and moisture evaporated.

You may have to add some water before rice is tender, so watch for that near the end of cooking time.
