Pickled Squash

Put squash and onions in bowl.
Sprinkle with salt and let stand for 1 hour.
Combine sugar, celery seed, mustard seed and vinegar.
Bring to a boil.
Add squash and onions.
Bring to a good simmer.
Put in hot sterilized jars and seal.
