Pickled Green Beans is an easy dinner. Made with 2 gal. broken green beans, 2 tbsp. salt, 1 c. sugar and 1 pt. apple cider vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Use enough water to cover the beans in large pot.
Bring to a full, rolling boil.
Boil one hour.
Pour into clean, hot jars and seal.
You can pour off the liquid when you open a jar.
Add fresh water to finish cooking or leave the canning liquid and finish cooking.
I drain my beans and add fresh water.
Not as tart, but good.
