Pickled Eggs
Pickled Eggs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 doz. eggs, 1 1/2 c. white vinegar, 1/2 c. water, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

And place in narrow deep jar. Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, cloves and bay leaf in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for
5 minutes.
Hot vinegar solution over eggs, making sure eggs are completely covered with the liquid.
Place onion slices on top of
Cover tightly.
Place in refrigerator and let stand several days.
May be served whole, halved or sliced; plain or either sandwiches or salads.
For a special holiday touch, add a coloring to liquid to tint eggs while they are marinating.
