Pickled Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head cabbage, 1 bay leaf, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. salt and 2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Bake cabbage for 1 hour.
Remove the charred outer leaves. Cut the cabbage into 1-inch wedges with the core attached. Simmer the water, vinegar and spices for 5 minutes.
Pour over the cabbage in a jar and seal.
Keep refrigerated.
