Pickle Beets is an easy dinner. Made with 2 gal. fresh beets, washed and stem cut to about 1-inch from top, 4 c. vinegar, 6 c. sugar and 1/4 c. allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cover fresh beets in boiler in water.
Cook until tender.
Pour off hot water; run cold water over beets.
When cool enough, peel beets and slice large beets; if small, leave whole.
