Stir sugar gradually into slightly beaten eggs.
Add flour, soda and spices, sifted together.
Mix thoroughly and let stand overnight in a cool place. Roll with hands into balls the size of marbles.
Place on greased baking sheet and bake in oven at 350Β° for 15 minutes. Cool and frost with confectioners sugar icing. When frosting has set, store in tightly covered container to ripen for several weeks.
