Peppers And Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. lean round steak *, 2 green peppers, seeded and cut into 1/2-inch strips, 1 c. beef bouillon, 1/4 c. lite soy sauce and 1/2 tsp. ground ginger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cut steak into thin slices.
Place half the steak in crock-pot.
Arrange peppers on steak.
Place remaining steak on top of peppers.
(Mushrooms can be added at this time.)
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours, on high setting for 3 to 4 hours. During last hour of cooking, stock may be thickened, if desired. Serve over bed of hot rice.
