Pepperoni Rolls
Pepperoni Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. quick rise yeast, 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1/4 c. water (lukewarm), 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix yeast, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and 1/4 cup water and let stand.
Mix 1 1/2 cups water and egg.
Mix flour and salt.
Mix Crisco and 1/2 cup sugar.
Add egg water to melted shortening mixture and add yeast mixture.
Pour this over top of flour mixture.
Knead well or do in mixer with dough hook until sides of bowl clean.
Place in oil sprayed bowl and cover with Saran or Saran quick covers.
Let rise 1/2 to 1 hour.
Divide into 32 pieces.
Roll each piece flat and place 2 pepperoni slices and 1 to 2 cubes cheese.
Shape into roll.
Bake on ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 350Β°. Brush tops with butter while hot.
