Pepperoni Balls
Pepperoni Balls is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. hot roll mix, 1/4 lb. mozzarella cheese, cut in cubes and 1/4 to 1/2 lb. pepperoni, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Prepare roll mix according to package directions, but omit egg and use 1 cup water.
Dough does not need to rise.
Place a cheese cube on a pepperoni slice.
Pinch off a piece of dough and shape carefully around the meat and cheese, forming a ball.
Repeat until all ingredients are used up.
Fry in deep, hot oil for about 5 minutes, until golden brown, turning once.
Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
