Pepperminties
Pepperminties is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. plain flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Two hours before serving or early in the day
Into large bowl, measure flour, sugar, margarine, baking powder, salt, egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended.
Shape into ball.
Preheat oven to 325Β°.
On lightly floured surface, roll half of dough in 12 x 6-inch rectangle.
Cut lengthwise into 4 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 6 pieces.
Place rectangles about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
Repeat with remaining dough.
