Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, green chilies, 1/2 tsp. salt, grated cheese and 3/4 c. cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
On waxed paper, roll out a good sized beef pattie. Spread cheese and green peppers on this pattie.
Roll out another pattie the same size and put on top of first pattie.
Press together all around the edges so the cheese and chilies will stay in place. Cook in skillet with oil until patties are done on one side.
Turn pattie over and cook on other side until done.
