Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter, 1 1/2 lb. round or sirloin steak, 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, 1/4 c. chopped onion and 1 1/2 green peppers, sliced thin strips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown beef in butter and garlic salt.
Remove meat and add onion and green peppers and saute 2 to 3 minutes.
Return meat; add tomatoes and bouillon cube.
Simmer about 1 hour.
Blend cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
Add to mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Reduce heat; stir occasionally 3 minutes.
Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over cooked noodles and cover with beef mixture.
