Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, salt and pepper and 1 1/2 lb. sliced beef (thin strips), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Marinate beef in mixture of oil, cornstarch, soy sauce, salt and pepper for about an hour.
Brown beef in wok or frypan.
When browned, push beef to wok ledge.
Wok onions and peppers in a small amount of oil until onions are browned.
Mix cornstarch and water and add to vegetables.
Return beef to wok.
Cover and cook until desired tenderness.
Serve over rice.
