Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 lb. round steak, cut into 2 x 7/8-inch strips, 1/2 c. butter, sprinkle of garlic powder, 1/2 c. chopped onions and 2 green peppers, cut into thin strips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Add beef to melted butter in skillet.
Sprinkle with garlic. Cook, stirring until browned.
Remove meat.
Add onions and green peppers.
Saute for 2 minutes.
Return meat to pan with tomatoes and bouillon cube.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Blend cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
Stir into meat mixture.
Cook until thickened.
Yields 4 to 6 servings.
