Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. fat, 1 lb. round or flank steak, cut into bite sizes, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 2 tbsp. minced onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt fat in frypan.
Cut meat into 1-inch strips; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place meat, onion and garlic in frypan; brown.
Add peppers and bouillon; cover and cook 30 minutes.
Add tomatoes; simmer 5 minutes.
Combine cornstarch, soy sauce and water; add to meat mixture and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Makes four servings.
Serve over rice.
