Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. steak, cut in 1/8-inch thick strips, 1 tbsp. paprika, 2 cloves garlic, crushed, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1 c. onion, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sprinkle steak with paprika and set aside.
Brown garlic in butter and add steak, onions and green peppers.
Cook until all vegetables are wilted.
Add tomatoes and broth.
Cover and simmer on low heat about 15 minutes.
Blend water with cornstarch and soy sauce; stir into steak.
Cook until thickened.
Serve over rice. Makes 6 servings.
