Pepper Snaps
Pepper Snaps is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 2 tsp. black ground pepper, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients and set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream the butter and \sugar.
Add eggs; mix well. Gradually add dry mixture; stir just until blended.
Wrap in wax paper or clear plastic.
Put in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Form 1/2 teaspoon of dough into balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
Cool on wire rack. Makes about 8 dozen.
