Pepper Nuts
Pepper Nuts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. corn syrup (dark), 1 egg and 2 heaping tsp. powdered anise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Add flour to make really stiff dough.
Has to be stiff enough to stay together in long rolls, about 1/2-inch in diameter.
If not stiff enough to do that, add more flour.
After rolling, let set in refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Slice in little pieces on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350Β° until brown.
