Pepper Biscuits
Pepper Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. flour, 2 tbsp. salt, 1 tbsp. pepper, 1 tbsp. fennel seed and 2 c. water (warm), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

First mix together the flour, salt, pepper and fennel seed. Next, make a hole in the center of mixture.
Put water and dry yeast; dissolve yeast well, then mix all the mixture together. Cover mixture with a cloth and let mixture rise for 1 hour.
Cut dough into pieces and roll to form biscuits.
Drop dough into boiling water until they rise to the top.
Remove and place on cookie sheet; bake for 1/2 hour at 450Β°.
