Penuche is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/3 c. light cream, 1/3 c. milk and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix sugars, cream, milk and butter in saucepan.
Boil to soft stage or 238°, stirring only if needed.
Remove from heat.
Cool to lukewarm (110°) without stirring.
Add vanilla.
Beat vigorously until fudge thickens and loses gloss.
Add nuts. Spread in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Score; cut when firm.
