Penuche
Penuche is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. brown sugar, 2 tbsp. butter, 3/4 c. milk and 2/3 c. chopped walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine sugar, butter and milk and cook, stirring only until sugar is dissolved and a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball (238Β°).
Remove from heat; cool to lukewarm, then beat until mixture begins to hold its shape.
Stir in walnuts and turn into greased pan about 3/4-inch thick.
Cut into squares when firm.
