Peggy's Crispy Candy Bars
Peggy'S Crispy Candy Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. light or dark corn syrup, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. crunchy peanut butter, 6 c. rice crispy cereal and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chip pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix syrup and sugar in big saucepan.
Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and cereal.
Press mixture in well-greased 13 x 9 x 2 pan.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch pieces in double boiler or microwave and spread over cereal mixture.
Cut into 1 x 2-inch bars.
