Pecan Sandies
Pecan Sandies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. butter, softened, 1 c. confectioners (10x) sugar, 2 tbsp. water, 4 tsp. vanilla extract and 4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar (10x).
Add water and vanilla; mix well.
Gradually add flour; fold in pecans.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten with fingers.
Bake at 300Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
When cool, dust with confectioners sugar.
Yields about 5 dozen.
