Pecan Sandies
Pecan Sandies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. confectioners sugar, 2 tbsp. water, 4 tsp. vanilla flavoring and 4 c. plain flour (all-purpose), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
Add water and vanilla.
Mix well. Gradually add flour.
Fold in pecans. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Place balls on ungreased baking sheet and flatten with finger.
Bake at 300Β° for 20 to 25 minutes. When cool, dust with sugar.
Makes about 5 or 6 dozen.
