Pecan Sandies

Cream the margarine and sugar.
Add water and vanilla.
Mix well.
Blend in flour and pecans.
Chill 4 hours.
Shape in balls or fingers.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325Β° for 20 minutes.
Remove from pan and sift confectioners sugar on cookies. Makes about 3 dozen.
