Pecan Pound Cake
Pecan Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. milk, 5 eggs and 2 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. more, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream together butter and milk; add eggs one at a time, adding milk after each egg.
Sift together flour and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Add 1/2 cup toasted pecans to mixture.
Pour into a greased 9-inch tube pan or loaf pan.
Sprinkle in the remaining pecans.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Check pan doneness after 1 1/4 hours.
Cool for 5 minutes on each.
Remove from pan and cool.
