Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs, flour and salt. Mix well. Add vanilla, syrup and nuts.
Mix well. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake 10 minutes in 450° oven. Reduce heat to 350°. Bake 25 minutes or until firm.
