Pecan Pie
Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. corn syrup (karo), 1/2 tsp. salt (optional) and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream margarine; add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, syrup and salt; beat well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake on lower shelf of oven at 350Β° for approximately 45 minutes or until set.
(I use deep pie shells; this makes two nice pies.
I use Golden Eagle syrup.)
